It’s less than a week to go until WordCamp South Africa. After a lot of build up and a huge amount of work from, amongst others, Radiiate and Younique, WordCamp SA looks to be a hot event. I’m looking forward to meeting some of the big names in South African blogging, designing and developing. Mr WordPress himself, Matt Mullenweg is going to be there and will add a lot of cred to the event.

I really enjoyed this interview on Jeffro2pt0 with Lorelle that covered everything from WordCamp Dallas to tips on using WordPress and then dove into some of the concepts of using WordPress to make money as well as general blogging issues. Quite informative…

Tina Gasperson of Linux.com had the following to say about Wordpress 2.5

After upgrading my WordPress installation and using the new format, I found that the WordPress development team has done a fabulous job of making WordPress even better than it was. It’s not perfect, but it’s darn close.

She had a few points of criticism but I’m glad that 2.5 is getting such great responses because I personally am loving it…
